Capture the shelf.One frame at a time.

Take a clean front-facing photo of each shelf section — close enough that labels are readable. Overlapping pans of the same shelf are fine; Steady merges duplicates automatically. Up to 12 images per scan.

Best results

Stand close enough to read labels with the naked eye — wide whole-bar panoramas leave bottles too small to read. Face labels toward the camera, avoid glare and heavy blur, and cover the shelf in sections. A little overlap between shots is OK (duplicates are merged); huge overlap is not needed.

Overlapping photos of the same shelf are de-duplicated automatically. Depth counting (bottles hidden behind the front row) is out of scope for this POC.
